Salsa II

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2013
This is a delicious salsa recipe! My daughters & I made it last weekend & we love it! My husband who is rather picky, was very impressed with us & the recipe! I read thru the reviews & we made a few changes, but only because we don't like it too hot. Oh, and we used fresh garlic, like a whole bulb worth! We cooked it for about three hours so it would thicken, too. Thank you Kikiwood, most amazing Salsa!!

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2013
This is the one!! From now on, this is the recipe I will use! It is not only the easiest baked Cheesecake recipe I have ever made, it is also the fluffiest! I never changed a thing in the recipe, & although I did think about omitting the cinnamon, I am sure happy that I didn't, it gives it such a nice flavor. I was lucky enough to still have garden strawberries in my freezer & they were so flavorful. All of our guests, 10 year olds & up just loved it! Thank you so much for sharing the recipe that I have been looking for, for so long!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2013
MMM, MMM This is a very good recipe, The dressing gives the spinach the perfect taste, the toasted nuts & seeds really top it off! I did toast mine in a dry non-stick pan and it worked great. After looking through a lot of the reviews, I think I will add some of the typical spinach salad ingredients next time, such as crumbled bacon & sliced eggs, the blue cheese looks interesting, but as it is, it's wonderful. Everyone at our supper loved it! It makes a large salad though & doesn't really keep well, the spinach totally wilts, so change the serving size to suit you. I will be making this again & again, thank you for sharing this!!

Chicken, Fennel and Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2013
This is an easy, delicious soup! For a first time fennel user, I am glad I picked this recipe. I followed the recipe all the way to the cooking of the veggies where I cooked them longer, till they were done, before I added the cream & buttermilk. I used a heavy bottomed dutch oven to brown the chicken breasts & browned them well on the outside, they were a little pink inside yet when i tore them up, but cooked with the veggies later. then just continued in that pot to get all the flavor from the bottom. Fantastic! It is even better the next day as the lemon pepper seems to come forth more giving it just the slightest heat. Some reviewed it as too thin, I think the thinness is partly what makes it such an elegant soup. I will make this again & again and I will not change anything! Thank you for a wonderful recipe :D

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
So Delicious! Not to mention fast, easy & flexible! Nice & thick; a great meal when served with Ham & Cheese Biscuits! I topped it with shredded old cheddar, sliced green onions & crumbled bacon to imitate the Baked Potato Soup served at Tony Roma's. A sure hit :)
