It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2014
Great flavored chili. Found this chili when i was trying to use up my tomato juice. Only had half a can left so used that, jammed the other ingredients besides green peppers and beans because I love them. I panicked when I forgot to half most of the seasonings but it turned out delicious. Also, I've tried with fresh tomatoes and some tomato paste because I was trying to get rid of tomatoes. I'm realizing after writing it down his many changes i made, but it was what i had.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2014
Delicious! Marinated for six hours, meat and veggies separately. did double the marinade recipe and had the right amount for the meat and veggies i had. used thighs and their flavor and tenderness were delightful. if I wasn't cooking for little kids, I'd add a bit of crushed red pepper.

Sloppy Sams

Good replacement for beef. I did cook the lentils in beef broth to give it more of the flavor without the cost or fat content. I also like the flexibility of being able to use fresh or canned tomatoes. This time around I used canned tomatoes since its winter.

Homemade Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
Hey Starry Night, I made this recipe a year or two ago and loved it. This time around when I pulled out the Nasoya brand wontons I discovered your exact recipe, minus the breadcrumbs! It looks like this company is a fan of your recipe!

Three Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
I loved this. I used fusili pasta and frozen spinach which both worked wonderfully. I may increase the chicken next time but it was great as is (I used a garlic and herb pasta sauce).

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
Yummy. Like other reviewers said, the proportion of meat to the rest of the soup is pretty. It is delicious but I think for my budget I will decrease the amount of meat next time. I did cube the meat to cut down on cooking time and this worked out well. I also used a cheaper cut off beef and it worked out great. Great add leftovers but you will need more stock to replace the water absorbed by the barley.

Tortellini Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
Loved it. I didn't have any fresh tortellini, so I used dried and it tasted great. Also, I couldn't find light cream at the store and used buttermilk. Because they were in the fridge, I sprinkled some cherry tomatoes in; they added a nice touch, though it would have still been delicious without.
