Western Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2014
My family loves this salad, even my daughther who will not eat dressing on salad! I do not put the chips and dressing on until time to serve. I use romaine lettuce, other than that I pretty much follow as written. It does make a very large salad!

Macaroons

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2011
Very easy and great tasting cookies! I used 1 tsp. almond extract as another reviewer mentioned, also cut the sugar to 1/4 cup and used unsweetened coconut. Still plenty sweet if you are watching your sugar intake. Yum!

Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Made this for out of town guests, we all agreed it's the best breakfast casserole we'd had! I did use 8 eggs and cooked the sausage with the onion, added mushrooms and red bell pepper. Also cooked the potatoes alone while browning the sausage, about 20-25 minutes. Served 6 adults (many had two servings) plus some left-overs. Thanks so much for sharing!

Paella I

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
Delicious! I used a 1 lb. package of rice, a large can of diced tomatoes, red wine (all I had) and only chicken, shrimp and mussels. Teenage kids thought it was just okay, but my husband and I really liked it. Not too hard to prepare, but impressive looking. Thanks for sharing!

Very Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2007
These are very good and I had no trouble at all getting them to stick together. I did not have sunflower seeds, so I used chopped pecans instead. Will make again!

Raspberry Tiramisu

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2006
Very good! This is rich, so you can get a lot more than 6 servings from the 9x13 pan. I made it for a family gathering and I'd say we got about 16 servings out of it. Thanks for sharing!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2003
This was very easy, but also very GOOD! I added some fresh cilantro and green onions and I used fresh cooked chicken breast instead of the canned. I made it for guests and they loved it!

Brownies In A Jar

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
These are excellent! I don't care for nuts in my brownies, so I substituted peanut butter chips and chocolate chips instead. * Be sure your jar will hold 32 oz. before you begin - or you will not be able to fit all ingredients!
