Eggless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
I make these regularly at our church as we have a couple of egg allergies. They are delicious! My family prefers them to box mixes.:)

Tex-Mex Pork

Very good! Family luved it! However, I would use less chili powder......it was very dominant. But if you do not use enough I think it may remind you of Sphagetti?

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2010
Yummy! Just made it today! The ONLY thing I did differently is that I used more Key lime juice. 5 EGGS IS JUST FINE!!!! No soggy crust! Did Not use 2 cans of the sweetened condensed milk either. Baked for 25 minutes. Great recipe!:)

Chocolate Walnut Rum Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
Love these treats! I make these every Christmas! Defenitely refrigerate overnight before eating. I have found that if you eat them right away the rum flavor is very strong.....it kind of mellows and the flavors blend after sitting awhile in the fridge. :)

Wonderful breakfast casserole! I used hashbrowns on top like a lot of other folks did. I browned them first. Thanks!

Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
I am giving it 5 stars because it was good, just not exactly my idea of bbq. The ingredients keep it moist, but I prefer BBQ sauce. I like it saucier. Is that a word?

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2008
My family loved it! I did use cream of mushroom, but will try the cream of chicken too! I also added 1 can of milk. Next time I will use 2 cans of soup and maybe some sour cream for a creamier texture. Just a personal preference! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Fresh Peach Cobbler I

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
Good recipe. I was pressed for time and did not make the topping. I used southern style pillsbury biscuits rolled in cinnamon and sugar. They can be torn up in smaller pieces or just plopped on top like you would the homemade stuff!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

My whole family loved it, and that is saying something! Hard to find recipes that please a variety of taste buds! The only thing I did different was to use MUCH less butter. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
Very good! Two things though. #1 cube the chicken before you cook it, much faster. #2 to cut down on the watery problem but still have a tomato flavor, tomato paste. Other than that I did everything else the same. Quick and yummy!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
Very good cake! Like some others I only used 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of oil. To make up the difference in oil I used all natural applesauce, about 6 ounces. And because it was easier, Betty Crocker made the Whipped cream cheese frosting:)

Cincinnati-Style Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
Well, I have to say that reading the other reviews has been really funny! Seems there is a different version of this from everyone that considers themselves an expert on the subject. Bottom line is that this is a good recipe regardless. The fact that it has chocolate in it makes it a non-traditional chili, so not everyone will like it! I fixed it for a big family get together and we all thought it was very good! I think it would be better to stop hearing how authentic it is and just plain old "do we like the recipe?" What is good about this recipe or not good based on our preferences. There are a zillion "skyline" recipes on this site and no two are the same! Will the real Skyline Chili please stand up! Sorry could not resist.
