About this Cook
I have LOVED baking and working with Chocolate since I was probably 12 (maybe younger) I stopped baking so much once I hit my Jr Year in HS and have finally been able to get back into it! I make a dessert to share at least 1-2 times a week. I have always had some dietary issues and have recently figured out that I have IBS which makes baking and coking more ...interesting... I have to cut out as many oils and fats as possible! I have been learning how to change around recipes to suit my tummy!
My favorite things to cook
Anything with chocolate especially if it has peanut butter along with it! I'm enjoying learning more about chicken and fish.
My favorite family cooking traditions
our Tri-Tip dinner! Daddy's Marinated tri-tip. Grammy's potato salad French Bread Salad and 4-layer dessert!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
On one of my loaves I added nuts and layered finely chopped nuts on top before baking. It tasted AMAZING and looked gorgeous! Such a simple way to dress it up!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III
Absolutely addicting! My friends beg me to make these. Cookie: I use a rounded teaspoon for each cookie. this helps have consistent sized cookies for pairing them. filling: I roll 1/2 teaspoon (depending on the ratio you like) into a ball and then flatten them between 2 pieces of parchment or wax paper. (use a cookie sheet or book to press them down evenly) this will give you perfectly round filling.

Banana Crumb Muffins
This is my "go-to" recipe for Banana muffins and loaves. One batch will usually make 1 10x5 loaf. (you will only need 1/2 the crumb topping) for super moist results fill another pan with Hot water and set in your oven. (I set my oven to 350 on convection bake) I also like to make 2 batches and add an extra large banana!
