Amazing recipe. Made this early this morning and when I returned from errands, could not believe the incredible aroma. I looked at all the reviews previously posted and adlibbed a lot based on all the reviews. Trimmed all fat off, coated in a mixture of flour with garlic powder, tarragon, chili powder, Epicure Arriba seasoning, cumin, Epicure Fajita seasoning, browned quickly on high in a bit of olive oil.
Also used low-sodium beef broth instead of water, plus 1/2 bottle merlot, touch of worcester and tobasco and about a Tbsp of lemon juice.
