Amazing Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
I discovered this receipe last summer and I love it. Its my go to meal when I have friends over or when I need a quick meal. The sesame oil gives it a nice flavor. I try to let it marinade for at least 30 minutes. Cooked on th grill is the best.

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
Followed the recipe expect I marinated the chicken in the 'absooluteky fabulous greek dressing'. A recipe I found here and I trimmed down the recipe for 3 servings.I used one chicken breast diced and 1 1/4 cup of pasta. It was so tasty. Looking forward to lunch tomorrow since some reviewers indicated it tastes even better as leftovers :)

Glazed Salmon Fillet

Reviewed: May 19, 2012
Great recipe!!! I cut down on the brown sugar and added organic agave (picked up from TJs) to ensure a glazed. I let it marinade for about 30mins but next time i will do it for at least 1hr. It was delicious! Baked for 8 mins and broiled for 4 mins.

Hummus III

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
I used this recipe as a base. I continued to play with the ingredients until it reminded me of a hummus I tried in NYC. I bought traditional tahini from a middle eastern store so it was very strong in taste so i ended up adding more garbanzo beans to balance the flavor.

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
I just finished making this vegetarian style and it turned out wonderful. I used half a box of pasta and half a jar of alfredo sauce. mixed alfredo with the pesto sauce. Sauteed garlic and onions then added spinach. Rinsed pasta in cold water and drained. Added sauteed spinach, sauce, feta cheese and chopped tomatoes and mixed all together. Served with pan-fry salmon.....Great simple dinner that looks like more work than it is actually. Thanks for the recipe; it was just what i was looking for!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
though i modified the recipe..its a great base. I made an egg wash and Dipped 12 slices of eggplant into it. Next into breadcrumbs with a dash of salt, pepper and oregano. Baked it in a pan lightly oiled, first side 20 mins; next side for 15 mins or until golden brown. Sauce: ground turkey with minced garlic and onions and jar of prepared sauce Arrangement:eggplant, sauce and mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese x2 baked for about 25 mins or until cheese is melted. Served it with garlic spaghetti. YUMMY! My bf loved it and went for seconds. Next time i'm thinking of adding a spinach and feta mixture in the middle to add more flavor and use beef instead of turkey with a can of tomato sauce.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
good template recipe to make your own. I trimed it down to make 24 oz. About equal parts oil and vinegar (half and half of red wine and balasmic) and about a TBspoon of sugar and water. Blended it and placed it on my go-to-list: 'dressing for salads and chicken' :)

Crab Rangoon

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2012
Thanks for providing the basic ingredients but I took some of the other reviewers recommendation and referred to another crab rangoon recipe to great avail. I minced real crab meat, mixed it with green onions, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, paprika, and sugar. Mixed that in the AM, refrigerated and fried the wonton once i returned from work. It was so tasty! My boyfriend loved it. Can't wait for our annual cookout so I can WOW my guests!
