Making chocolate chip cookies on Christmas Eve for Santa with my 2 oldest kids.
My cooking tragedies
I make homemade mac'n cheese on the stove, one time I needed more cheese, and while shredding it I forgot to turn the pan down and keep stirring, I burnt the food. It was awful, but my parents still ate it. I think I was like 14 at the time. Never made that mistake again.

Beef Stroganoff II
This was great, having a large family I had to double recipe. I was worried because I had never made stroganoff homemade before. It turned out so good, I did add more paprika then called for and some garlic powder, a little bit of fresh Basil, and left out the salt. Nice!

Cola Onion Pork Chops
I made this last night for my family, there are 5 of us so I doubled everything. I really liked the flavor of the gravy, it was kind of sweat, though I did have to thicken it with corn starch and water. The meat was not as tender as I had hoped, so next time I am going to slow cook it like some others have suggested. I will be making this again very soon.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning
I love this recipe. I did change a couple of things. I used 1 pkg onion soup mix, the whole packet of ranch mix, added some shredded cheese in the middle of the loaf, and used a pkg of Ritz crackers instead of bread stuffing. It did take a little longer then an hour to cook though because of the cheese layer. We had a friend over for dinner and my husband, the kids and our friend loved it. In fact he asked me to give the recipe to his mom. I don't usually like meatloaf, but this was something I will be making again very soon
