Orange Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
I really love cake like this. Its delicious without box cake taste. And the syrup you add on top is a must! I cut the butter in half and the syrup was delicious....also I added only half the lemon extract and added vanilla for the other half...a dreamy flavor.

Seven Layer Dip I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
Everyone try this dip! I took it to a superbowl party, when I said it was 'mexican dip' people immediately dug in. I brought it pretty late and they still finished it! I added a layer of queso cheese on top of the guacamole. I made the guacamole with a commercial seasoning packet. The queso cheese dip is a must, it tastes exactly like upside down nachos!!

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2003
Loved it! I used tortilla chips instead of tortillas and it worked great. I seasoned the chicken up a bit and its soo good. One of the best recipes I've tried here.

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2003
Excellent recipe. Creamy and cheesy without being heavy thanks to the broth and creamed soup combo. Adding the peas and green peppers make it a great one dish dinner. I added a few tablespoons of the sherry that was the only adjustment. It gets rave reviews from my place. Keeps well in the refrigerator and we didn't mind eating it later on in the week at all!

Orange Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
Very good! Better than take out and was just as fast. Used instant rice to serve with it, and added cubed green peppers and pineapple, and used a little of the pineapple juice too for taste. skipped the salt and orange rind and added some of the pineapple juice and found that this made the saltiness disappear completely and gave the sauce just what it needed.

Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2002
O MY this was great! I love quesadillas and it turned out just as described! One thing I did was use a little less fajita seasoning as too much overwhelms the mild taste of the cheese and green peppers, then I used 2tbl. of italian dressing while cooking the chicken to give them a little moisture because we like our quesas saucy. Delicious!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2002
Delicious!! I give it a 5 star for the good smells from just cooking it! We baked the chops as the recipe asked but served it with the creamy sauce on the side and on our mashed potatoes. Good!

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2002
I love enchiladas and this was a great recipe. Just enough sauce and I used hot salsa for that extra kick. The first time I used corn tortillas, big mistake! They cooked up rubbery in the oven. But the flour ones worked great the second time. No leftovers here! :)

I loved these potatoes! It reminded me of macaroni and cheese, they came out fluffy, cheesy and very good! You must use all ingredients to come out with the right recipe. A great new side dish!

Hoagie Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2002
Excellent recipe. I put in two eggs and used ham, turkey, and pepperoni as the meats. This sandwich goes great with soup. We used a little italian dressing on the side as adding it while baking looked as if it might turn greasy. Yummy!
