I don't cook often, but I'm getting sick of packaged veggie burgers so I decided to give these a try. Boy am I glad I did! Delicious! I used two eggs as suggested, red/orange pepper because I prefer them, and Japanese bread crumbs because that's all I had (3 cups). Otherwise I followed the recipe as-written and these turned out great! I didn't have any problems with them falling apart, the flavor was awesome, and they look really nice too. My guest who makes her own black bean burgers gave them an A+ as well. The only change I might make next time is to add a pinch of salt. This recipe is definitely a keeper!
