Amish Meatloaf
I made this recipe EXACTLY AS IT WAS WRITTEN. I LOVED it. But I like my meatloaf super sweet and saucy. I used a convection oven, (and I'm new to a convection), and I don't know if that's why, but the edges were nice and crispy. I will make this again. Not sure why anyone who doesn't like sweet/sugar in their meatloaf would consider this recipe. You can see how much sugar is in it. It's not a secret. I digress... My usual go-to meatloaf recipe has a tasty sauce on top but it's only a thin layer, so there isn't enough to go with each bite. This one has enough sauce that you can have plenty with every delectable bite. ENJOY!

Too Much Chocolate Cake
WOW. My husband took a piece about 1/5 of the entire cake. He quickly realized that this was too darn rich to eat that much! Anyway, the batter is more like a dough, so I didn't have a problem with my chocolate chips all sinking to the bottom. I will make this for the next potluck or family gathering that I have. It's delicious if you're craving something super chocolate-y!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
I halved the recipe because it was just for my husband and I. MISTAKE. I think the person who selected the "Serving Size" was a supermodel. I halved it and ended up having to make the other half of the recipe for me because my husband ate the whole 1/2 batch. The 2nd half was too much for me, but I ate about 3/4 of them. So if you're cooking for 8, this won't be enough unless there are small children involved. It's hard for me to judge the flavor, because the measurements are ridiculous when you halve a recipe and harder to make precise. Next time, when I make the WHOLE thing, I'll be able to better say how good the flavor is.
