Corn Pudding V

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
This recipe was a perfect base, but needed some extra seasonings. I added garlic, onion, 1/2 cup cream of chicken, 1/2 cup cream of mushroom, 1 egg, red pepper flakes, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. I sprinkled the top with shredded cheddar cheese. You can really season it anyway you like. Made it for the first time on Thanksgiving and it's not even Christmas yet and I have already made it by request three additional times for family and friends.

Tuna Casserole III

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
I didn't have any noodles in the house but was craving a tuna casserole, when I remembered this recipe that I had previously passed on. I am so glad I didn't have noodles. I may not have tried this. It is a different dish, but just a good as traditional tuna casserole. Thanks for the recipe.

Coconut Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2007
Great pie. Reminded me of an old fashion coconut pie. Added 1 cup of sweetened coconut but it was a little too stiff. Next time I will add only 3/4 cup to the recipe. Very easy. Love it!

Tartar Sauce I

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2007
Good easy recipe. I could tell if I have made it ahead of time like recommended it would be PERFECT! But we didn't want to wait so I doubled the relish and onions and it was so good.

Orange Glaze II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
Great glaze not very orangy. I added triple sec just to give it a kick. Grand Marnier or Cointreau would be excellent.

My mom has used this recipe for years. I love it! Add one tablespoon of powdered sugar to the mixture before blending and it will be perfect!

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
Wow! Great recipe. This is the first time that I was able to get beef this tender. I also added fresh mushrooms to the last 30 minutes of cook time. It turned out great. My father uses this same recipe for pork chops.

Golden Rum Cake

Great recipe. Everyone loved it. I didn't add all the glaze. It would have been too mushy.

G's Flank Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2003
Great marinade. To keep the marinade low carbs, I used 3 packets of Splenda instead of the brown sugar. Also, I served the steak on a bed of the oriental cabbage salad featured in the South Beach Diet. It was delicious.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2003
Great recipe! I added this dish to my recipe box back in 2002. It's still great today! Sometimes, I substitute shrimp for chicken and it's just as good. I had to add more cajun seasoning than the recipe suggests. I used Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning. Try it with artichokes. Had a similar dish on Bourbon.

Asian Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2003
Great recipe! I substituted 1 and 1/2 packets of Splenda to keep it low carb. Also instead of the rice, I served the Salmon on a bed of the oriental cabbage salad featured in the South Beach Diet. The sauce was great over the cabbage. **Also don't over marinate I did that once and the Salmon absorbed all the sodium from the soy sauce and was salty.
