Broccoli Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2012
Because I couldn't find sunflower kernels, I used pine nuts instead. I sprinkled some fresh coriander on top as well. It was absolutely fresh, savory, and delicious. Perfect for a summer day!

Tomato Basil Tagliatelle

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
A little bizarre to eat pasta with uncooked tomatoes. I didn't have time time to buy fresh basil or oregano and used dried ones instead, which didn't turn out good. The pasta was aggressive as a result. Also, it was too vinegar-y for my taste!

Absolutely delicious! My asparagus stalks were thicker, so I cooked them for around 15 minutes. The taste is fabulous!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
Absolutely delicious! I followed the advice of some of the reviews and used butter instead of olive oil. I also dusted some garlic powder in the parmesan and bread crumb mixture. As per reviews, I covered the baking dish with aluminum foil to keep the chicken from drying out. Everyone loved it!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2013
This baked ziti is SO delicious! I followed everyone's advice and covered the final product before putting it in the oven, but I didn't get a crispy ziti at the end. It was moist, cheesy, and gooey in all the right places, but maybe next time I will remove the aluminum foil for the last 5 minutes of the baking time. I seasoned the meat with black pepper and garlic powder. After browning it with the onions and added garlic, I poured in the tomato sauce and one can of mushroom pieces. After the simmering was done, I directly placed the sauce on top of the first half of noodles, and then added the cheese, sour cream and so on. Following someone else's tip, I stirred the bottom layer of ziti and sauce together before I added anything else just to make sure that the sauce ran all through the noodles. I sprinkled fresh minced basil on top that gave an extra twang to the dish.

Chinese Noodle Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2014
It was a delicious comfort meal, but the recipe doesn't specify which kind of noodles to use. I used ramen, but I think this could be a much better dish with buckwheat soba noodles, hokkien noodles, or even spaghetti. I cooked the noodles on the side, then mixed everything together at the end. The vegetables need to be steamed for at least 5 minutes, not 2 minutes. I used double the amount of teriyaki sauce. Great taste! My 7-year-old went back for seconds and thirds.

This is fantastic! Fresh and delicious. I added some mint, feta cheese, pepper, garlic powder, and a swirl of balsamic vinaigrette. My friends loved it.
