Famous Japanese Restaurant-Style Salad Dressing

Reviewed: May 6, 2013
This is now our favorite salad dressing. It tastes virtually like the dressing at the nearby Japanese restaurant. We love it.

Country Pot Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2012
I was disappointed with the results. The roast was a little tough and not really what I wanted it to look like when done. Not sure I understood the difference between simmering and the admonition not to "boil" the roast. Simmering is simply a low boil and I could not adjust my gas flame any lower. I really wanted a recipe that used the oven rather than the stovetop. it was ok, we ate it.

Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2012
I love the recipe but I did add some water. Without water, it seemed that it was way too thick. I added enough to get to the consitency I like. Like the recipe.

Heather's Grilled Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
Excellent marinade. The Salmon was delicious on the grill outside. It's too hot to cook indoors. Followed directions first time and it tasted wonderful. Will definitely try again.

Double Decker Tacos

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
I also use jalapenos, lemon, onions and fresh tomatoes to make guacamole. I used to use hamburger but I changed to flank steak. I chop the flank steak into small cubes and cook it with potatoes, onions and serrano peppers for more heat. Everything else I do similar although I cook my own corn tortillas. I don't like to use those excessively crisp store bought taco shells.
