Jam Filled Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Didn't use JAM because my hubby doesn't like it; instead I shaped them in small circles (not balls) and drizzled melted semi-sweet chocolate on top; YUMMY and pretty

White Chocolate Fruit Tart

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
Delicious, great recipe, very accurate and easy to follow. Used pecan flavored white chips the second time and the taste was amazing. I've also made tartellets and they are my favorite they look super pretty and elaborate; I use cupcake pans roll a circle of dough in my hand and I carefully place it, the baking time is less, like 15 minutes, also the cooling time and everything takes less time. Its so fun to decorate each tartellet I love making them.

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
YUMMY! Made "carrot cake III" before and didn't like it, so even though this recipe had pineapple (which I don't like) I took a chance and made it, it's a great carrot cake, perfect moisture, not to sweet, not to spicy, I just ommited the raisins and didn't added anything else instead. Everyone loved it :)

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2012
I followed a review; to first bake the cake and while still warm just after taking it out of the oven sprinkle with streusel and wrap foil over it. I discovered is best to take it out of the oven while almost ready sprinkle with streusel and then bake for another 10 mins. Turns out great!!!!!

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
I tried this recipe because I did a raspberry ricotta salad with raspberry vinaigrette from a magazine, the salad was delicious but the vinaigrette was not; to salty for my taste. I then tired this recipe and WOW, I only suggest to stay back on the dijon, add one teaspoon and taste, if you feel it needs more add half a teaspoon. Also it tastes better with olive oil than with vegetable oil. Mine turned out pink because I mixed it on a blender, it looking cute.

Smoked Salmon Spread

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
Delicioso! I followed other reviews and doubled the sauces. Also I used dried dill weed. I did it one day in advance, of course one day in the refrigerator makes the cheese hard, I took it out one hour before serving and it had a spreadable consistency. A new classic for my dinners or reunions.

Spinach Basil Pesto

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2012
Delicioso next level. Everything on the recipe works. I did the it one day in advance, stored the pesto in the refrigerator. The next day I cooked spaghetti and while it was still hot y folded in the pesto, OMG, I was even asked what brand of pesto it was! Also this can be served with salad, makes a perfect heavy dressing.

Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2012
Great recipe, a quick easy way to turn regular brownie mix into a home-y creation. I mixed the cheese batter to much and they turned out rather a beige color than marble-y, next time I will be more careful when mixing.

Great Halloween material. We made a "scary" dessert table and I brought this cupcakes. The idea is cute and simple to make. They looked yummy, tasted yummy, I loved them. I didn't had cookie crumbs so I used sprinkles.

Holiday Brie en Croute

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
I used phyllo pastry sheets, they were out, it was december 23rd and I had to finish my cooking. The result was amazing, I read a different recipe that used phyllo but used the rest of the ingredients in this recipe. I can't even start saying how much better it is if you use phyllo, only two or three sheets covered in melted butter, try it!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
Delish!!! Cut calories: the recipe calls for two eggs but I only used the egg whites and it worked just fine. I used paprika instead of cumin, I like my food spicy. I didn't tell my husband they were veggie burgers and he believed they were regular burgers until I told him the truth! We had a delicious diner I would do them again anytime.

Easter Nests

Super cute! I used strawberry jam instead of frosting because I filled the cupcakes with strawberry jam and the frosting just seemed like too much. The toasted coconut is a wonderful idea!
