Pita Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
5 STARS !!! Great recipe. Second time I made it I used pizza sauce and changed blue cheese for parmesan it was much better but original recipe still worth 5 stars. MODIFICATION: I've made this recipe so many times that I’ve made some major modifications that work great; I use pizza cheese mix I believe it has like 5 different kinds of cheese including mozzarella and parmesan it’s already grated so you save a lot of time. I add pepperoni, ham, whatever I have on hand and the taste really improves. I’ve made this with whole wheat pitas it has a bit of a different taste but still amazing. I skip on the tomatoes because they always seem to lack a little flavor.

Cucumber Sunomono

Just like in the best sushi places! Just need to prepare in a covered bowl and shake very well then store in the fridge (covered) for at least two hours. Serve with soy sauce reduced with water and a little bit of lemon

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2011
I didn't use the original recipe but my recipe deserves 5 stars. I used DIJON MUSTARD and cut down HONEY to 1/3 CUP. I did the rest exactly as stated in the original recipe. DELICIOUS!

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
Use only 2 cups of carrots and substitute the other cup for a cup of drained pineapples or dried coconut. If only cutting out a cup of carrot and not adding pineapple or coconut increase the amount of sugar to 2 1/2 cups Cut cinnamon to 1 teaspoon Finally, for a prettier cake add the pecans to the already frosted cake and not directly to the frosting as stated in recipe

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
USE ONLY 4 EGG YOLKS, it tastes a lot better Save egg whites to add meringue: after the pie is set let it cool a little and decorate, bake on low temp for 10 mins or until the meringue looks a little bit darker

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
Delicious and VERY easy not extra sweet like most apple pies I've made. Apples come out with the perfect consistency. A must do and now a classic in my kitchen.

Chocolate Cookie Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
I'd still rather use the "Betty Crocker" chocolate icing recipe which uses unsweetened baking chocolate (will upload soon), but overall it was good, I reduced the cocoa powder to 2 tablespoons and I didn’t had to add more milk.

Dietetic Banana Nut Muffins

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
Great recipe, I gave them 5 stars because they are remorse free and they taste great compared to the almost no calories they have I made my own apple sauce (Sarah's Applesauce) and used splenda instead of regular sugar, I guess that makes the muffins even more dietetic I also sifted the dry ingredients because it gives more volume to the muffins If you care a lot about your figure like I do, try them!!!!

Buttermilk Mango-Berry Crumb Cake

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
Excellent recipe, I used no calorie sugar and fat free buttermilk, this might be a lower fat- lower calorie option for the cake and it still tastes excellent. I only used mangos and it turned put great, I really recommend it.

Perfect Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
Excelent recipe, it's trully a perfect chocolate cake. Everybody loved it! I did only two layers instead of three and it turned out perfect, I also used a different chocolate frosting because the one on the recipe didn't taste so well
