Very easy and delicious! A surprisingly great combination of flavors. (Great without the walnuts, too!)

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2002
Very delicious cookie...soft and chewy, as promised. I really enjoy the texture, which is kind of similar to a really good peanut butter cookie. The taste is unique for a chocolate chip cookie but definitely great! A must for anyone who otherwise struggles with flat chocolate chip cookies!

Hot-and-Sour Prawn Soup with Lemon Grass

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2002
Very delicious! I'm sure it's even better with the lime leaves, which I didn't have, but even without it was very good, and it's quite easy to prepare.

Excellent Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2002
Truly chewy and very delicious. These cookies do not get flat if you bake them as directed, which is not true of so many oatmeal cookie recipes. Good also (for non-cinnamon lovers) w/out cinnamon and with half vanilla and half almond extract.

Banana Oatmeal Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2003
This cake was really excellent! The oatmeal (I used Irish oatmeal) added a great texture to the cake itself and was delicious in the crumb topping. The moistness of this cake also is wonderful.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2003
This is very good and easy to prepare. Without the basil and with a dash of garlic powder, it is a very good substitute for boxed macaroni and cheese...similar in flavor, although much better, of course. Does need more liquid added while cooking.

Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2005
This recipe is amazing! My discriminating husband absolutely loved it. I did add about 1/4 cup of sugar to the chocolate and coffee portion of the mousse recipe, just to sweeten it up a bit, although it probably would not have been necessary. Impressive and delicious!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2005
These are really very delicious. I might try to make them all in one pan in the future so that there are fewer browned edges. I used white rather than brown sugar for the filling. And a powdered sugar glaze is great on them. But this recipe is basically terrific!
