Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2011
This was a great recipe. I added 1tsp of vanilla and also doubled the amount of sugar. I used one large ripe banana and found that it provided enough of the banana flavor for my liking. As an extra treat I peeled and sliced up some apple and fried over medium heat with 1tbsp of butter 1tsp of cinnamon and 1/4c of brown sugar. It made a wonderful topping as the juices from the apple and the sugar made a sweet syrup.

Blueberry 'S' Pie

This was wonderful and easy! The only thing I will adjust next time is to maybe use less butter because the base was very hard and almost hard to lift off the pan.

This was just not for me. I guess I just don't like cheese and pineapple together.

Roomali Roti

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
this was okay, I can't tell if it was my technique or the recipe that failed me though! I am of indian decent and I was hoping for soft roti like my grandmother used to make but I found these dry and crispy.

I added some corn to this and served it as a side dish with some BBQ steak. My boyfriend thought it was great and I loved it too! Thanks for sharing!

Aunt Edith's Baked Pancake

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
This was great, I added vanilla and cinnamon and some brown sugar. I melted the butter (well, I used margarine) in the skillet first instead of rubbing it. It tasted like french toasted. The only complaint I have is that the margarine made the outside a little salty for my liking but my bf loved it!
