About this Cook
Married and working full time as an office manager for international construction company. We move alot making us professional packers!
My favorite things to cook
I'm in a slow cooker mood now that fall is here (sort of... 82 degree highs in FL = fall???) but we also grill ALOT.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We are a new family... just my husband and myself (oh and the cats) so our traditions are still being created!
My cooking tragedies
Went through a slump for about a month last year when every thing, and I mean everything I made turned out horrible! Dryed out... burnt... undercooked... you name it! But we are through that. 'Thank goodness' says my hubbie!

Vanilla Ice Cream IV
Even with the ice cream malfunctions, this was yummy. Brought back wonderful childhood memories of July 4th Picnics and homemade ice cream- like Mom used to make!!! I did add some vanilla bean seeds but other than that. Didn't change a thing! THIS ONE IS A KEEPER.

Classic Macaroni Salad
This is a terrific salad! I'm not a macaroni salad fan typically but this was very, very good. I did double the mayo because it was pretty dry at first, and I also used apple cider vinegar rather than white vinegar for hubbie's likes. Keep in mind this makes a TON!! We will be eating it all week... happily!!!

Asparagus and Cashews
Good side kick to Beer Can Chicken. I will decrease the oils in half next time and possibly the cashews as well. But it was pretty darn good. Thanks Shellito!
