Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ
Very good pulled pork, husband and son enjoyed it, much better than the packaged store-bought variety. I used a pork loin roast and added 1 tbsp liquid smoke. When roast was done, I put the shredded pork in a large saucepan over medium heat and added a bottle of BBQ sauce.

Basic Ham and Bean Soup
Great soup! My teenager loves it and my non-soup eating husband enjoys it too. I soak the beans overnight; use 6 cups of low-sodium chicken broth and 1 cup vegetable broth, no additional salt, and extra vegetables. I have used spiral ham bones, smoked turkey legs and wings. I throw everything in the stockpot and let it simmer until the turkey is falling off the bone, 2 to 3 hours, then remove meat/bones and shred, returning meat to pot. I have always pureed half the beans but I didn’t last time and hubby said he liked it better that way. Thanks so much for this recipe.

Greek Chicken
Marinated cut chicken pieces overnight and roasted in oven at 375 degrees for 55 mins. Chicken looked very tasty coming out of the oven. Picky 11-yr old said it was ok, I thought the breast was dry, and no comment from DH. Won't make again.
