I just made these for burgers as a main dish for company tonight. They were a huge hit. I tripled the recipe and cooked them on olive oil coated foil on the barbecue. I had no problem with them sticking together. I mixed the whole concoction up in my kitchen-aide (which is also how I mashed the beans) and doubled the amount of bread crumbs that the recipe calls for. I put them out with traditional burger fixings (ketchup, pickles, lettuce, tomato etc) and everyone gobbled them right up. Please note: it is VERY IMPORTANT to oil the foil that you cook them on :o)
