I cannot believe how great this recipe is! I will be making this over and over. My whole family just loved it. I did make some changes, only because I have a family of seven and wasn't so sure there would be enough. I used two cups or so of rootbeer. It just didn't feel right to put meat on to cook without some kind of seasoning. So I added a little onion salt, salt, and pepper and a smidge of garlic, just to taste. Then I let it cook. After about six hours I went ahead and pulled the pork, added the bbq sauce and dumped some syrup on top stirred it up and let it cook another hour or so. It was fantastic! I recommed this recipe to anyone. We served it on buns with a slice of onion and a few pickles....delish!
