Cheesy Chicken Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
Made this to exact recipe except I only used one egg per other reviews. It was PERFECT. The red pepper flakes add just the right amount of kick to the meatballs - we will make this one again!

Made this exactly as listed except I didn't have the Apple Cider Vinegar, so we used Balsamic vinegar instead. This was delish!!! It was so juicy, so flavorful that we will be making this one again and again!!!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
Made this exactly as the recipe called for and it was one of the most amazingly delicious peach cobblers I've every had! We had just went to a local farm and had about 15lbs of peaches - it was just what we needed to use up a bundle :) This is going into the recipe box for life!

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2011
The only change I made was replaced the water/tomato sauce with 1/2 cup thick salsa as suggested by a couple of other reviewers. This was a simple recipe and was absolutely delicious (even though I inadvertently put the taco sauce in with the other ingredients ... oops). Will be saving this one as a favorite and making many more times. :)

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
Another quick and yummy meal ... the spice mix makes the Tilapia taste extremely good. And as the recipe was written - we didn't underestimate the bread. The juice from cooking was a wonderful addition to moisten up the bread and add another layer of flavor to the dish.

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
YUMMY! These came out so tender and flavorful! Only difference was I put a whole bottle of bbq sauce because we are moving and I would have had to throw it away if I didn't use it. Will do this one again!

This was so easy to make and tasted GREAT. The only change I made was to add oregano, garlic, and onion to the meat when I browned it.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
Quick, easy. Added jalapenos to a couple pieces and did as another member posted and put some of the salsa in the pan before laying the chicken in.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
Loved this recipe! Quick and easy - only change was that we used red wine since we already had some open. This will be a favorite recipe in my house :)

Cajun Style Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2011
Made this for the first time last night ... cut the recipe in half for a serving of 4 expecting that my boyfriend and I would have leftovers. We ate the ENTIRE thing! The only difference was that I used beef and turkey because we needed to use the remaining ground turkey we had bought. Next time using the sausage ... it can only be even better!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
This was AMAZING!!! Just finished eating, BF had two sandwiches and I'm having leftovers tomorrow for lunch. I did use 20oz of Root Beer just to make sure the pork was covered completely, then cooked for 6hrs, drained and shredded, returned to crockpot with Kansas style smokey BBQ sauce for one more hour. So tender, so juicy, so delicious!!!! For those that said it was too sweet - they had to have used sweet BBQ sauce - because you can't taste the sweetness of the Root Beer after you've drained it and cooked in BBQ sauce.

Jagerschnitzel

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
We loved it! I do agree with a previous rater that suggested cooking the pork steaks and starting the mushrooms and onions at the same time. Since i took the suggestion of making french fries, I stuck the pork steaks into the oven once those were done in order to keep them warm while the gravy thickened up. This will be going into our rotation as well.

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
This was a great dish. Takes a little prep time cooking the chicken and pasta ahead of time, but the result is delicious. Only difference is that we added salt/pepper to the chicken when we cooked it and added more cheddar cheese. This will be a favorite!

Stuffed Mexican Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2011
This was an amazing recipe - that taste was PERFECT. The only change I made was to cook the peppers for 20 mins rather than steaming then before filling them. Will be making this one many more times! Made this another time and only let the meat mixture simmer for 10 mins - it still came out delish! (yes I was impatient and hungry!)

Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2011
Only change we made was to add about a 1/2 cup of green taco sauce to the crockpot - giving it a little more liquid and a little more flavor. Next time will quick up the spice factor with a hot habanero sauce. Served over a Spanish rice, topped with guacamole, sour cream, and shredded fiesta cheese. Scooped up with tortilla chips - YUMMY! Will definitely go into our dinner rotation.

A little bland for our taste so we added some chili powder and Cajun seasoning ... it was very creamy and tasteful with those additions!
