Deb's Millionaire Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
The recipe was delicious as is, but the second time I made it was even better. I used yellow cake mix and a bag of mixed chips- peanut butter and chocolate chip. I also sprinkled crushed peanut butter cups on top after it had cooled.

Peanut Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
This was a hit at my dad's birthday party. I made it into a 2 layer 9 inch round cake with store bought chocolate icing in the middle and around the outside edge, but not on the top. Milk or ice cream would have been a great accompaniment, but we were on a picnic in 90 degree heat, so that was not feasible. There were 3 cakes, but this was the only one that disappeared!

Yummy and versatile when you mix and match cake mixes and add-ins like chopped nuts or chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter chips.

Vanilla-Banana Smoothie

This was good and the kids loved it. I added some crushed ice to the blender when mixing it up. I may use a bit more vanilla next time as it was a bit plain.

Carrot Cake V

I just made this. It doesn't even have the icing on it yet, but I was a making a shaped cake, so I cut some extra off and ate it solo. It is delicious. I can't wait to serve it tomorrow for Easter. I am sure it will be a hit.

Banana Blast II

While I was adding the last 3 indgredients, I also added a 1/4 tsp of vanilla and a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. I am going to reduce the 1/4 tsp of cinnamon next time to just a pinch because it was a bit overpowering. I am wondering if honey would be good instead of cinnamonn and might try that next time. I didn't use the full 1/4 cup of water either, since I used skim milk. I used about an 1/8 cup instead.
