Creamy Cheesy Scrambled Eggs with Basil

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
These were the lightest and fluffiest scrambled eggs I have ever made. I will add more spices next time for our personal taste, but with the sour cream and cheese these were incredibly light. My compliments to you for the idea.

Queenie's Killer Tomato Bagel Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
Very tasty. This is a great way to use just about any fresh veggie or meat to make a lite and tasty sandwhich. I added lemon pepper and thinly sliced cucumbers and red onion. We enjoyed this very much. Thanks for the recipe.

Mushroom Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2011
I skipped the breading and went straight to browning the breasts in the butter (I added a little olive oil as well) with the mushrooms, onions and added 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger. I didn't need the cornstarch as I let the sauce reduce on its own. I served this over rice seasoned with fresh parsley &fresh basil. It made a lovely dinner. Thank you for the recipe.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
This was a nice dish that was easy to make and very tasty. Next time, I will increase the amount of basil. It had a nice peppery taste, but I would recommend using a the juice of one large lemon and increasing the zest to taste. Since I used only a small lemon, the juice and zest were lost in the dish. Thanks for the recipe!

Cheesy Sausage Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
This was quite good and very simple. I cooked the pepper and onion with the sausage. I used an entire handful of fresh parsley and about 1 1/2 cups of cheese. It was great, thanks for sharing. This would be easy to change into so many other dishes by altering the spices and the meats. It's a great dish.

Kielbasa with Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
While I did a few things differently, this was a very simple and tasty meal. I used an entire large green pepper, 2 tsp minced garlic, only 1 can of chopped tomatoes and since I had no Parmesan, I used Swiss. The meal was very good. With the Swiss Cheese, it probably wasn't as visually appealing as Parmesan would have been, but it was still good. I also add a few healthy shakes of crushed red peppers. Next time I would increase the canned tomatoes to the full 2 cans and of course use Parmesian. Thanks for a good recipe.

Reuben Sandwich II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
This was VERY good and very easy. I used a nice marbled rye and instead of corned beef I used pastrami. I've made this several times already and it is delicious. Thanks Colette!

Microwave Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
For a fast dessert, this was really good. The 'crisp' part was very tasty and very crisp which really added substance. I used splenda brown sugar and it was great. Will definitely make again. I'll use the 'crisp' on other desserts as well. Good base for ideas.

Super Summer Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
This was GREAT! Served it as a side salad and it was perfect. I did drain and rinse both the corn & black beans so the colors would stay true. Made it in the morning and served it that evening. Very versatile as well, could easily be changed to be so many other salads. Great salad/salsa.

Chicken Jalfrezi

Reviewed: May 21, 2011
This was easy to make and very mild. It had a simple flavor, but was much better the 2nd day. I will make again, I'll just increase all the spices by half. This also worked well served over spaghetti. Thanks to your Mama.
