About this Cook
Im from Norco, Ca. and live on a small ranch, full of horses, chickens, dogs, and kids. I love them all. I have a great husband that spoiles me rotten. I love to ride, and I am raising Peacocks! I have 7 girls and 8 boys. Only 4 girls left at home now. My two youngest Girls are 6. and the lite of my life. They ride horses, dance and keep me totally entertained. My 12 year old loves to cook like me..My 15 yo, loves to draw , not so much cook. Im blessed with a great family. I have 13 grandchildren too! I love cooking for all of them, on Holidays, or whenever we get together.
My favorite things to cook
I love to fry. Fried potatoes are probably my favorite thing. Eggplant, love to cook eggplant, all different ways. also love to make soup's, roasts, chops, chili and fresh vegetables. All my baked goods must be from scratch.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My kids love my pea and bacon salad, potato salad, and deviled eggs. They always request it at our gatherings. I cook a lot of Italian foods. My Grandma was from Italy.
My cooking triumphs
I quess it was my mexican rice. Finally I made one that was perfect! Fluffy, tasty and so good. Not gummy or sticky at all. Got the recipe here. It turned out fantastic.
My cooking tragedies
Guess it was my mexican rice, always sticky and clumped together.

Pecan Pie V
This was the best pecan pie. Ive tried others, but their filling was to gooey. This had a little texture like I remember when I was a kid. Perfectly yummy.
