Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: May 2, 2004
I made these with the help of the children (ages 2 to 3) in the toddler room of the child care center where I work. They were very easy to make and were a hit with the little ones! Moist and delicious.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2004
This recipe was amazing! The apples really compliment the pork well. I made only two chops but kept the same amount of ingredients for the sauce as called for in the recipe, and it turned out fabulously.

Peachy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2004
I was looking for a new way to prepare pork and stumbled upon this recipe. The peaches complimented the pork very well and was excellent when served with wild rice. After reading that the recipe might be too sweet, I cut down the amount of brown sugar just a little, and it turned out great.

Salmon with Dill

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2004
I usually just drizzle a little oil on my salmon and put it under the broiler. This was definitely a nice change. Quick, easy, and delicious.

Creamy Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2004
This was so much better than the stuff you get out of cans! I added a little dried thyme and added a little olive oil to the butter at the beginning, and it was marvelous. Garlic might have been a good addition as well. Too bad I'm the only one I know who likes mushrooms. Oh, well, more for me!

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2003
This dish turned out really well and tasted really good! I had no celery or stewed tomatoes, so I used cream of celery and a mixture of diced fresh tomatoes and pasta sauce instead.

Peach Cobbler VI

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2003
Very easy to make and tastes great, especially with whipped cream. I typically prefer making more complicated cobblers with fresh fruit, but when there's barely anything left in my kitchen, this makes the perfect last-minute dessert.

Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2003
I don't normally like cauliflower, so I was surprised that this was so good. I omitted the red pepper flakes, but that's just my personal preference.

Curry-Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2003
This curry sauce is absolutely delicious and goes really well with the shrimp and brown rice. It's not too spicy but still has some kick. I'd love to try it with chicken and veggies. I'll omit or use less of the cornstarch next time, though; it made the sauce too thick.

Self-Filled Cupcakes I

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2002
These cupcakes are amazing. I made some to share with my co-workers, then made more to share the next week because they disappeared so fast!
