About this Cook
I live with my Sugar and his two children. We've been together 2 years and I couldn't be happier. Thanks to him I've been inspired to cook and I love it! I'm even working on a Culinary Degree in college.

Never Fail Biscuits
I love these biscuits! I have made them many times and they are true to their name! (Unless you roll them too thin, then they become hockey pucks...lol. That was my second time making them and I didn't pay attention :/) I made these biscuits to go with a new sausage gravy recipe I found and my boyfriend says and I quote, "In all my 43 years of living and hundreds of plates of biscuits and gravy, THIS is the best plate EVER!" Now he is off to go brag about it at work

Jan's Pretzel Dogs
Wow my Hubby and his kids LOVED these! And so did I of course :p I DID NOT have a bread machine but I DO have a heavy duty mixer. I did the first 3 steps as directed except I had all the ingredients together in the bowl with the paddle attachment of my mixer until well incorporated. I replaced the paddle with the dough hook and set it on medium low speed for about 6 minutes to knead the dough. After that I covered the dough with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temp for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, until it doubled in size. I did everything else as instructed.

Spinach Brownies
Really good! Loved it! I added a tsp of minced garlic to mine and about a cup of cooked mushrooms! Gonna leave a little of the mozzarella cheese out to sprinkle on top next time. Definitely gonna make this again!
