Apple Cranberry Streusel Custard Pie

This was ok. The custard was nothing special. I would just make an apple pie and add cranberries.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Really good soup. You can control how creamy it gets, by how much you puree it. I found it was a bit bland until I topped it with grated cheddar. My family loved this recipe, and my hubby told his mom all about it!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

A few too many cranberries for my taste. I would reduce them to 1 Cup next time. The loaf in itself was really good...nice and sweet to offset the tart berries. I made this recipe as is, with no changes.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These are big, fat & chewy. I made exactly as written and they turned out great. I packed the dough into a 1/4 cup measure and got 13 cookies. 15 minutes was not enough time for mine, they took closer to 18-20.

Best Brownies

Great flavour, but a little to cake like for me. I doubled the recipe and baked for 30 mins. Maybe baked too long.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Very delicious pie. You really must be quick in making the sugar syrup! I was too slow and it thickened to an unusable state. I wound up adding more water to it so it was pourable. I don't think it would matter what crust recipe is used, the sugar mixture on the top of it makes it to die for. I will use this recipe again and again.

Sauteed Apples

i used this over vanilla ice cream and was really good. i omitted the water, but it needs more cinnamon and maybe nutmeg. not quite sweet enough for me.
