Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
Yummy!!!! Everyone at our New Year's party enjoyed this adults & kids alike. Made this as stated with the exception of the sugar, used slightly less than a cup. Froze the mixture in 12 square containers used for freezing vegetables/applesauce. First batch hadn't quite frozen, 2nd batch later in the evening was perfect!! Nice and slushy as stated in the recipe. Will make again.

Microwave Bread and Butter Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
Wow! Incrediable. Easy to prepare. Amazing outcome in a short period of time. I followed the directions as stated. The only change that I would possibly make is decreasing the sugar by just a bit. But that would be it. Thank you for an easy recipe that doesn't compromise on taste or quality!!!!!!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
Great recipe! I admit I was a little hesitant to make a full batch, but I'm thankful I did. We had our Youth Group over and they ate ever last kernel. I used butter instead of the margarine and skipped the peanuts (didn't have any in the house). 1 cup kernels equals approximately 7 quarts popped popcorn. The popcorn coated very nicely and evenly by the second stirring. I used one roasting pan and one jelly roll pan. I would use a 9x13 cake pan before I use a jelly roll pan again, too much spilling while attempting to stir. Thank you for the super yummy recipe! :)

Chocolate Candy Bar Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Impressive looking cake that starts with a mix, what more could you ask for! The only change I made while making this recipe was sprinkling the top of the cake and in between the cake layers with crushed Skor/Heath bars. I personally do not care for the texture or look of icing with candy/nuts blended into it. I was a bit hesitant about the frozen whipped topping in the icing, but all together the icing ingredients made a great topping for this cake. Will make again.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Yummy little bites of goodness! I used graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter in place of the vanilla wafers, personal preference. Other than that followed the recipe and got rave reviews. Very pretty when finished and such a simple recipe!

Caramel Corn Snack Mix

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Yummy snack mix and very hard to stop eating once you start! Fairly simple to put together, which is great when looking for something to bring to a party or put out for a impromptu gathering. I did use microwave light butter popcorn rather than air popped, we had it in the pantry and weren't using it. I also substituted cashews for the pecans.

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Great recipe! I made this cheesecake for my sister's birthday and it was a HIT. I did use cinnamon sugar graham crackers and just strongly brewed coffee. My only complaint was using store bought caramel ice cream topping. It was too this and spread into one fine layer on top of the cake, not keeping the beautiful design I had drizzled on top. Next time I make this recipe I will use homemade caramel instead. Will make this cheesecake again!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Beautiful and delicious! I made this for my MIL's anniversary and got such good reviews that I made a second one in a weeks time! The only modifications that I made were to increase the amount of chocolate cookie crumbs, personal preference. This one's a keeper.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Amazing taco dip! I have gotten so many compliments on this dish. This dip is great even when I forgo the fresh tomato/green bell pepper in the winter when good tomatoes are hard to find. Great recipe and can be modified according to your preference.
