Mexican Corn on the Cob (Elote)

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
Delicious! I made this recipe twice so far. It's the best Mexican Corn recipe I've come across. It's such a nice balance of flavors. I definitely recommend trying this out!

Greek Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
I make this recipe frequently. This is a wonderful salad to make for dinner at home, or for a pot luck. I did modify the recipe a bit though. I choose to omit the pepperoni and the pasta. I added a cucumber (peeled, seeded and sliced). Delicious!

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: May 18, 2007
Delicious. I season the ribs with Montreal Seasoning before I wrap it tight in foil. I add the barbeque sauce 20 minutes before I'm done and wrap the foil loosely over it so the sauce sticks a little better.

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: May 18, 2007
YUMMY! I made this for dinner last night and it was delicious! I added 6 T of soy sauce instead of 4. I added sesame oil too. I stir-fried it with Asparagus and served it next to pot stickers and sticky white rice! Next time I will cut back on the vegetable oil and add more sesame oil. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Mexican Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2007
This has a great combination of flavor, and definitely different. My boyfriend didn't seem to confident about the meal idea, but raved over it once he ate one, and then two .. and a half. I though the corn was a bit messy and will omit that in the future. Thank you!

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
This recipe is perfect! It's hearty, but it doesn't make you feel like you've eaten too much food. It's flavorful and you can taste everything! I will half the recipe next time, I had to use 2 pots just to fit all the ingredients.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
This was SUPER delicious! The men I cooked for aren't huge meatloaf fans, but they ate all of the meatloaf I made last night. The only thing I might change is doubling the recipes!

Sea Bass Cuban Style

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
I thought this recipe was good and has a lot of potential. My boyfriend and I agreed that the olives overpowered the dish. I think next time I'll omit the green olives and capers (not a big fan of capers). I will replace the fresh diced tomatoes with canned Basil/Garlic Stewed Tomatoes.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
Yum Yum Yum .. the best fish I've ever made! I'm a bit sensitive to the flavor of mayonnaise, so I think I'll use 2T instead of 3T (yeild 8). I was cooking 6 fillets for my boyfriend and myself, I thought it was a bit much, but he raved and raved over it and is looking forward to tonights leftovers. THANKS!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2003
I've made this twice now. The second time I modified it just a little. I left out the lemon and lime juice, (this seemed to toughen the chicken meat), I used 3/4 cup of brown sugar and 3 tablespoons of honey. I used the chicken to make kabobs. I brushed the used marinade over the kabobs before grilling. YUM!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: May 14, 2003
I made this last night. It was very good, but I feel it can be a little better. Next time I will marinate the chicken in the Cajun seasoning. Also I would like the sauce to be a little thicker. Maybe I will heat the heavy cream separtely and add parmesan cheese.
