Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2012
Really tasty! I followed the tip to shred the chicken after about 3 hours, which soaked up some of the extra sauce. I was worried for a bit because it was so thin, but shredding the chicken pretty much elimnated that issue. Definitely making this again!

Best Ever Spinach Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2013
Very tasty with some tortilla chips. My boyfriend insisted I only give it a four because I used "too much green stuff, not enough white stuff," but he was chomping it down pretty heartily, so I think you win five stars ;)

Very good and pretty simple to make. I got the thumb's up from my family to do it again.

Chef John's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
This was delicious and very flavorful! Our changes: didn't add white pepper due to not having any, and we added in some bacon for kicks and giggles. Those were good modifications for us. Next time, I think I will forego melting cheese on the top and just add some more cheese into the sauce mixture.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
Very tasty! They came out just a *tad* crispier than I normally like after 20 minutes at 400 degrees, but did not stop me from enjoying them. I just made the muffins without the crumble top. I recommend this one!

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
Didn't get to try these, but the expressions on my boyfriend's and family's faces said enough for me. I did add some BBQ sauce and cut back a little on the chili sauce and ketchup, but used everything else as the recipe states.

Quiche Supreme

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
Quite good! I eliminated the mushrooms and substituted bacon crumbles for the ham and added more red and green pepper and onion. Next time I'll throw in some broccoli as well. Really good!

Blackened Chicken Pizza with Yellow Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
This was fantastic, especially paired with a homemade pizza crust. We eliminated the thyme and jalepeno simply because we didn't have them, substituted onion salt for salt and onion powder, and used red tomatos instead of yellow. These changes may have cut down on the spiciness a little that way, which was OK with us. Definitely will make this again.

These are delicious. I have made them a few times and they never fail to impress. I am just about to take another pan out of the oven, half topped with bacon :)

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: May 12, 2012
Made this for the family and they LOVED IT! The only things I changed were 1) cooking the ground beef in taco seasoning instead of using the chili powder, and 2) not using taco sauce, just 'cause I didn't have any. The real appeal of this one is being able to add whatever toppings you like on top of it - sour cream, lettuce, tomato, salsa, olives, etc. I'll be making this on again!

OREO® Triple Layer Chocolate Pie

Delicious and almost too easy to make - I can see myself getting into trouble by making too many of these because they're so simple. :)

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
These are fantastic! I took the basic concept and followed the Toll House recipe for the cookie dough (used egg substitute instead of eggs for safety - no egg at all would have made the dough too crumbly and dry), and I followed the yellow cake mix instructions. I covered the bottom of the cupcake tins with cake batter, dropped in a ball of frozen dough, and just barely covered with more batter. They are delicious - thanks for the recipe, LTH! I'm looking forward to trying the brownie batter version soon.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
We made this just the way prepared except for omitting the hot sauce, and it's a good thing we did. With the hot pepper flakes, it was just the perfect amount of "kick," and they were very tasty and flavorful. I cooked them as directed, then warmed up some pasta sauce and served on meatball subs with melted cheese on top. Good recipe - thanks, LTH! UPDATE: Made these again the other night for my mom and brother, again in meatball subs. My boyfriend, who had just had them two nights before, came over and sneaked a sub too. I did not have any left over!

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2012
Very good soup, especially for the amount of time it took to prepare (the 45-minute estimate was pretty accurate for me). I added in some chopped cooked carrots along with the celery; that was the only thing that seemed to be missing. Thanks, Corwynn!
