Haitian French Toast
This was wonderful! We used half and half instead of heavy cream in equal parts with the orange juice. We used a French batard so our pieces would be larger. We also added an extra egg because my husband wanted to. When he helps I try to accommodate. I have never had such tasty French toast. This recipe will be a regular. Thank you.

Butter Pecan Ice Cream
It curdled on the stove and would not even go thru a sieve. Does anyone know what happened? Help! I really want to make this recipe.

Quinoa and Black Beans
This was excellent and my husband loved it,too. I used chicken broth and olive oil as some suggested. The texture is wonderful and the fresh cilantro is a must. I served it with meat and bean burritos. I soooo appreciate the suggestions from other cooks. Thanks!
