Stuffed Jalapeno Firecrackers

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2011
These are excellent. My husband and friends love them. The Cajun seasoning makes them even better than the ones without this seasoning. I made only one change and that is only because I didn't have the jalapeno bacon so I just used regular bacon. Gloves recommended, but if you don't have gloves wash your hands a lot. Enjoy!!!

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
I didn't like these that much because I thought that the cream cheese and butter over powered the taste of the chicken and other ingredients. So "as is" I think they r 3 1/2 stars. After reading the reviews, I could see that people were making them to their liking, so I changed the recipe to have 1/4 light + 2/4 regular cream cheese + 1 Tbsp butter & 1 Tbsp milk. Kept the same amount of onion and added 2 1/2 Tbsp of chopped green chilis. Used garlic powder b/c that is what I had on hand. A few minutes before removing from oven, I sprinkled shredded cheddar cheese on top. Now, they are a 5 star. I'm very Thankful that you shared this recipe. I believe the possiblities r endless. I am not a great cook, but this recipe makes it possible for any one to make a chkn puff the way they like. Again thanks for the recipe. Also, thanks for the reviews -- they helped me with this recipe and how to use the dough to make a puff.

Uncle Jesse's French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
I liked it a lot, but my rating should really be 4 1/2 stars. Then after trying, I changed it somewhat. I left out cloves just b/c I don't like them & used dry Texas Toast, plus I don't drizzle with butter and just coat with the c. sugar -- yum! please try the recipe b4 u rate it -- it is helpful to us not so great cooks.

Fried Pork Chop

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
Thank you so much for this simple recipe. My mom use to make fried pork chops and none of us kids knew how she did it. This is just like hers, but I didn't put the chops in a bag. I just put them on a flat plate to coat them. I also remembered that my mom would put them on a paper towel covered paper plate to absorb the excess oil after frying. Love this simple recipe and will soon try with some different spices (i.e. onion pwdr) just for a change.
