Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: May 15, 2003
Great flavor! We had to bake it longer though... about 30 minutes.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: May 12, 2003
We really enjoyed this one. We used 2 cups of low-sodium chicken broth instead of water, and added about a tablespoon of sliced jalapeno from a jar. So good!

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2003
This was great! My boyfriend and I both really enjoyed it. We had it with ceasar salad and garlic bread. The only thing I did differently was I used fresh basil instead of cilantro because we don't care for cilantro. It worked very well. Thanks Nicole!

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2003
This is easily the best quiche I have ever had! And that's saying a lot, because I grew up with my mother's fabulous quiches. The only thing I changed was that I used fresh mushrooms and sauteed them with the onions and garlic. And I used Olive Oil instead of butter because I am trying to eat more "good fat"... Thanks for a fabulous recipe Bailey!!!

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2003
This was delicious!! I only changed a couple of things: I added a can of cannelini beans in addition to the kidney beans, and I used 4 cups reduced sodium chicken broth and ommitted the water. Turned out excellent, and is even more flavorful the second day! Thanks Jamie!

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
This is a great recipe. It is exactly the same one that Patti LaBelle made on Oprah. I have made this several times (but not too often, since it is sinfully rich). It's good when you want a treat!

Cheese Lover's Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2003
This recipe turned out well with a couple of additions... I added about a 1/4 cup chives chopped finely, a small container sour cream, and two cloves crushed garlic. I mixed those with the cream of mushroom soup. I also added some frozen peas, carrots, and corn. That gave it some nice colors. We really liked the cheesiness and the crunch from the croutons. Thanks for a good recipe idea!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2003
We LOVED this! My boyfriend picked it out because he loves mustard sauces and I thought it would just be okay since I'm not crazy about mustard. But we were both very impressed. The spices really balance the mustard & honey flavors. The only change I made was to reduce the honey a little bit because I didn't want it to be too sweet, and to use dijon mustard. Thanks for the great recipe! Addition: the next day, I sliced up the leftover chicken and tossed it with spinach, tomato, avocado, and yellow bell pepper. the sauce was a great salad dressing!

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2003
I am always looking for good salmon recipes... and I thought this one was great. It was a little sweet for my tastes, so I think I might cut down on the honey a little bit. Other than that, I thought this was great.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2002
I thought this was really good. I added low fat sour cream instead of the cream which reduced fat and added a little bit of extra flavor. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2002
We weren't crazy about these. I think they would be better if we had added sour cream instead of the cream cheese. The cream cheese flavor was a little odd for burritos. The red peppers were a nice combination with the black beans.

This was really good! I made mine really spicy by increasing the amount of red pepper.I tossed the sauce with mini penne pasta and it was a great meal. Easy too. A keeper!

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

We thought this was really good for how easy it was. We used no-boil noodles and it worked great. Also added fresh mushrooms to the meat mixture. Yummy.

Chicken Caesar Pita

I thought this was a good idea, but we made a few changes. I added red bell peppers, some thinly sliced red onion, and also used ceasar salad dressing. It was easy and tasty.
