Simply Pumpkin Pancakes

The flavor was decent but wow, the texture was spongy and dense (but in a creamy sort of way). Don't think it was the recipes fault... just the pumpkin puree. Be warned, it not like light and fluffy regular pancakes. More like cake.

Thai Red Chicken Curry

I need to try this recipe as written. Tried to use the suggestion of sprouts, peanut butter and fish sauce. Big mistake with peanut butter and I only use potatoes for yellow curry... don't know if the other reviewer was joking. And I think the corn starch was a mistake.

Chicken Stir-Fry

I like it. It was a great quick meal but i think it needs a bit of tweaking to kick it up to next level. I did add Chinese parsley, and sesame seeds. But i agree with the other comment that it still needs more Asian flavor. Next time I will try adding oyster sauce. And I'm second guessing the cornstarch.

Chicken Enchiladas I

To me it was just OK. BF hated it. I asked him if he wanted me to pack this in his lunch for tomorrow and he said, "no, I'll pass"! First time he's ever said that. Still looking for another recipe maybe with corn tortillas and enchilada sauce.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

I must have different taste buds than everyone else. The cookies were just OK. It tasted too bland, like too much shortening and not enough sugar. Would recommend cutting down on the shortening, adding more sugar and adding a little lemon extract (yeah, i know it sound weird) to lift the flavors.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Excellent recipe. Made just a few modifications. 1. Omitted tomato soup and used a couple of spoonfuls of tomato sauce in the filling. 2. Also added some ground pork sausage in the filling. 3. Poured a can of stewed/diced tomatoes over the cabbage rolls to simmer. This busy working mom also doubled the filling. I froze the other half of the filling to make stuffed peppers with later (add some shredded cheese and done!). I love shortcuts to home cooking! Toothpicks are fun, but they were not necessary here.
