Chicken Milano

Fabulous! I doubled the sauce and used a combination of plain sun-dried tomatoes and ones in oil -- really tasty. I also cut the chicken into strips before sauteing. I think this sauce would be great with shrimp too. I will try with half and half next time, because it is very rich.

Italian Pork Tenderloin

Excellent - the only change I made was to double the sauce ingredients. The pork was tender and the sauce was colorful and delicious. Highly recommend.

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

I have made this numerous times and it always meets with high praise - very easy and incredibly delicious - instead of a bowl, I always use a ziploc - and I almost always marinate for more like an hour. I usually don't have freash parsley, but dried works well too - highly recommeded.

Awesome Ham Pasta Salad

This one really lived up to the reviews! I will say that my husband only thought it was ok, because he is not a big pickle fan. However, I loved it and brought the rest into work and it was a really big hit -- great for hot weather meals. I did not use peppers, only because I don't like them -- I substituted celery instead. And it really does make a TON. Thanks!

Zippy Egg Casserole

Easy and outstanding. Followed to a "T", though I used dried, minced onions, not fresh. Hubby thought too spicy, so next time, instead of pepperjack, I'm going to try provolone or asiago....a keeper!!

Marinade for Steak I

Truly outstanding -- everyone at the party asked for the recipe for this marinade (which I started calling the "kitchen sink" marinade!). The only thing I didn't add was fresh onion -- instead, I added dried minced onion and dried shallots. I doubled the recipe and marinaded 4 2-lb london broil. Highly recomended.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

A really big hit at the Super Bowl Party and a nice change from the regular pigs in a blanket. I didn't find them at all time consuming -- I made them the night before (with toothpicks and without the brown sugar) and refrigerated until ready to cook. I added the brown sugar right before cooking and added less than 3/4 cup called for (only because it seemed like it would be overly sweet) and it was still great! Thanks!

Hot Onion Dip

Fabulous -- as others have noted, the first dip to go at the super bowl party!. The only changes I made, reduced the amount by a third (though I still used a whole onion and added two shallots and 2 cloves of garlic) and I sauted the onions, shallots and garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes before I mixed everything together. Super simple and delicious!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Outstanding and easy! I've made this twice in the last week (the first was a test run before we served it for company!). First time I served it over rice, second over egg noodles. I doubled+ the sauce -- can't have enough of a good thing! However, I only used one pakage of the dressing mix, even when doubled (used garlic and herb salad mix 2nd time, liked that better). Also used Philadephia Whipped Cream Cheese with chive -- melted very smoothly and quickly!! This is a great recipe that I will make again and again! Thanks!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

This was a big hit at our house! I more than doubled the gravy and because I didn't have any beef broth on hand, I used a combination of water, onion soup mix and chicken broth -- the sherry really makes this gravy. I also cooked the hamburgers first, alone, and then added the onions to the pan once the burgers were done and cooked them for about 15 minutes before starting the gravy. A very easy week-night recipe!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Outstanding and incredibly easy! Big hit with the family. The only change was using Ritz crakers and additions of spices into the cracker mix (garlic powder, lots of black pepper, paprika, seasoned salt and shallot pepper) -- will definitely become a staple!

Chicken Scarpariello

This was a big hit at my house -- it was very easy to make and I served it over jasmine rice. The only change I made was to use prepared chicken broth instead of the bouillon. I think next time I will add mushrooms and maybe a little lemon. Definitely a keeper!

Very tasty -- I didn't use bean sprouts, mainly because I was too lazy to go to the store to buy them! I will definitely make again and throw in whatever leftovers I have in the fridge -- I think it would be great with some mushrooms and chicken too!

Pork Tenderloin alla Napoli

This was very good -- the meat is incredibly tender and it's a nice change from regular tenderloin recipes. I, too, doubled the sauce and I used canned diced tomatoes and evaporated milk. Very tasty and will serve again, trying the original ingredients (though the substitutions I made worked well). A keeper!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

These were outstanding. I, like another reviewer, also marinated mushrooms and vidalia onions (in a separate ziploc bag) and added them to the skewers. Really tasty and the chicken was so moist. Will definitely make these again (I see some are discussing the merits of the different ranch dressings, so, for the record, I used Marie's :-) )

Lentil Soup

This is a fabulous base recipe -- you can take this and add or delete to your own tastes and it comes out great. I used canned beef and chicken broth (about 5 cups) and the rest water, I also added potatoes (about 1 1/2 cups of diced yukon gold) at the same time that I added the lentils. I also added more garlic (person preference!). I didn't add the vinegar or spinach, and tinkered with the spices (added salt, pepper and some more garlic). I'm bringing it for lunch all week!

Basil Parmesan Spread

Very good and very easy -- it got rave reviews. I used sun-dried tomato pesto (I think Classico makes it, with the jarred pasta sauce) -- and I agree with other posters -- just wouldn't be the same without the sundried tomato tase. Would definitely make again. I served it with bagel chips and brushetta toast.

White Pizza Dip
