This is very yummy. Made it for a birthday party along side another cake and they had another one there as well. Long story short, all cakes turned out weapons in a food fight that got out of control. This one however, was picked up from the floor by anyone who found a big piece because everyone who got a piece in their mouth and tasted it started saying it was very good. I was asked to make another one for our next get together and was promised it would be tucked away until all the games were done and over with.

Broccoli Cheese Soup VII

I didn't have cheddar cheese like so many reviewers recommend so I made it with what I had, shredded mozzarella and provolone. I drained the broccoli as most reviewers said it was soupy. But everything else was followed as stated. IT IS THE BEST BROCCOLI SOUP I HAVE TASTED!!! And I love broccoli cheese soup and order it almost at every restaurant that serves it.

Holiday Left-Over Sweet Potato Cake

My brother asked me to make a Sweet Potato Cake he saw on a Paula something cook show, so after reading the recipe I knew I wasn't going to like it. So I made both, hers and this one. I followed this recipe almost to the T. The only thing I changed was that I used a can of sweet potatoes instead of cooking them myself. I took both cakes to the Thanksgiving dinner party and this one was a hit. It was gone before the other one was even 1/4 eaten. It is very moist and super delicious. Next time I will make it with Splenda as I am diabetic and shouldn't be eating this (but it is so good).

Carrot Cake

Made this for a teen sleepover. Very very moist. I would have followed it exactly but my niece doesn't like coconut so we omitted it. Everyone LOVED it!! We frosted only half of it cause the other half was gone by the time it cooled down. All the girls took this address with them so they can save this recipe and make again with their families.
