My favorite things to cook
I have evolved over the years (thankfully ;-) and am now cooking healthy food. My husband and I both lost approximately 40 lbs just by moderately changing what we eat -- low fat/healthy fat, lean protein, whole grains, lots of fruit and veggies, and watched our snacking. We've eaten this way for more than 2 years now, and it has just become habit. Not that we don't indulge once in awhile ;-) Crab with melted butter to dip in; there is just no healthy replacement!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My tradition is never the same thing twice! Always new recipes, especially when we have guests. And lately the trick is finding fabulous decadent food that is actually good for you (but noone would think that, they just think its great!)
