Creamy Cheesy Scrambled Eggs with Basil
Very good. Received recipe this morning and decided to make for brunch. I did not have sour cream, but I substituted plain yogurt, which worked except it made the eggs 'weep' a bit on the plate. Cut fresh basil from my garden and fixed dish in no time. My husband even liked it and he seldom will eat eggs not fried or simply scrambled.

Indian Rice (Pulao)
Excellent rice dish for Indian Meal of Grilled Chicken Thighs Tandoori and Raita also from The Cardamon is an expensive seasoning. I could not find cardamon seeds at my grocery store, so I used ground cardamon. Also added 1 teaspoon of chicken bullion along with the water and yogurt in lieu of the salt. Used olive oil instead of vegetable shortening to cook onions and spices. Did not use saffron threads because I do not like this spice. Saffron is too over powering for my taste. Used Indian Basmati rice in place of regular long-grain white rice. I cooked the rice in my enameled covered cast iron dutch oven with three terry cloth towels tucked under the lid to absorb moisture; this worked well.

Grilled Chicken Thighs Tandoori
Made the recipe for dinner guests and everyone really liked the dish. Definitely will make again. I stuck to the recipe ingredients as given, but did not completely wipe off the marinade before grilling and did not spray with olive oil spray, which I didn't seem to need. I grilled the chicken as I always do without the indirect heat method which seemed like a lot of bother. Served with Indian Rice (Pulao), Raita (Indian Salad) also from and precooked Naan bread purchased at the grocery store.
