All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
This is my second batch the first went quick! I would have given it five stars but decided on 4 due to a few inconsistencies in the recipe. #1.. prep time is longer than 30 minutes. I used a countertop apple peeler that moves quickly but dicing them takes time. The first tie I diced them rather finely but found it makes no difference. #2. Even with the fine dice a wisk did not create a smooth product. Use a immersion blender, works lie a dream. #3. Time after removing lid is more than an hour. Mine ran about 3 hours. I suppose this could vary due to how juicy your apples are. All things considered in will continue to use this recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Excellent recipe! I took the advice of other posters and doubled the sauce, made too much but I can use it for another small pie. I didn't give it five stars because I thought it was missing something and after much thought I would add a diced potato or two to the peas and carrots mixture. Hubby loved it.

Grandma's Easy Turkey Taco Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
Makes a ton of Taco Salad! Way too much for just my hubby and I. Not a problem but I will try to decrease the recipe next time. I used another reviewers tip and made my dressing half salsa and half ranch dressing and it was very good. Salad is very very tasty but it sure goes soggy fast. I used the taco seasoning recipe mentioned (Bill Echols) and will use it again.

Ground Turkey Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
Loved this recipe. Made it for my husband and took some to my boss the next day, neither one could tell it was made with turkey and was lowere in fat..Its a keeper! I went a bit heavy on the Italan seasoning, my fault not the recipes.

Apple Pie in a Brown Paper Bag

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
I have made this pie on many occassions. I use a large Reynolds Turkey roasting bag to put my pie in. I don't have to worry about fire and I close the bag using the twisty tie. The bag is not to touch the top of teh pie.

So easy a five year old could do it! I have made this many times and always with rave reviews. I was concerend the firstt ime I made this, i thought I would come home to a bunch of unrecognizeable mush. I was pleasantly suprised. Will continue to make my vegatable soup only one way...THIS ONE!

Simple Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
I will make this again for sure! Simple and oh so easy but tastes more complex. Hubby Loved it and I wil; not change a thing. Much better than the popular canned mix. If you enjoy chopping and feel you must add green peppers or celery, go ahead but does not need it.
