Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
i made this recipe with chicken thighs.salted peppered dredged in flour and fried them in some olive oil about 8 min each side. then added the sauce. i added to table spoons of brown sugar and i had a ginger and garlic paste so used that (two teaspoons total). cooked chicken and sauce together for10 min or so. made with some super sticky sushi rice and edaname. BIG HIT will make again. i poked holes in the chicken to make sure it is done.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
Very good soup. I added a tsp of minced garlic and topped with cheddar cheese before serving. Because i like a chunkier soup i did not dice the potatoes just cut them up like i would if i was making mashed potatoes. Then i took some of the potatoes out mashed them and added back to the soup for a thicker consistency. YUMMY will definitely make again

Hearty Turkey Stew with Vegetables

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
very good soup i added a table spoon of garlic cuz i like garlic and added one sweet potato and one regular one. I never used marjoram before. was yummy. will do again. i made with cooked turkey which i think the recipe should be made with uncooked because the turkey did not absorb the flavor of this yummy soup.

Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Very easy and very tasty recipe. I cooked this for my baby who is from Louisiana and was told it was very authentic tasting. I didn't have the special sausage so i replaced that with a polish sausage instead. I also substituted the cooked shrimp for raw ones that i put in during the last 30 minutes. i cooked mine on high for 4 hours. I will definitely make it again! Oh and ps i can not eat a lot of spice so throwing in a table spoon of sour cream in mine worked wonders. I feel it did not distract from the flavor just the heat.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
i made mine in the slower cooker and came out great. I cooked the bacon and threw it right in and it gave it a nice flavor while the soup cooked on high for 7 hours. Didn't have onions so used 2 tbs of onion powder. My roomie loved it! will definitely make again.
