Chicken and Garlic Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2003
I made this recipe in a 9 x 13 pan instead of a pot. It turned out excellent. Your friends may complain about the state of your breath but that's a small price to pay.

Quick Crescent Taco Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2004
I added a can of green chilies and it made a big difference. I also used a ready made pie crust.

Oranged Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2004
The first time I made this it was a little watery but good. The second time I made this I simmered it for at least 3 hours if not more and it was much much better. The key is to cook this as long as possible.

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2004
My roommate keeps begging me to make this. I used 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and 1/4 cup of parmesan for the pork and then dumped the remaining into 2 cans of cream of mushroom, 1 Tablespoon of Worcestshire, and the milk.

Cinnamon Ice Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2004
This is very good and smooth. Although I do still have to work at whisking better before the eggs cook. I guess I'll have to keep practicing.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2004
Highly addicting. I usually make one big loaf and 2 smaller loaves that I stick in the freezer for later.

Spicy Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2005
I used sausage instead of ground beef, 1 Tablespoon of dried minced onion and I made this in the slow cooker on high for 5 hours. My roommate thought that it could use a little less ground pepper but I thought it was just right.

Irish-Style Lamb Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2006
It was a little bland. I added more salt after it was finished. I made this with the Irresistible Irish Soda Bread from this site.

Pumpkin Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
Really rich but good. Mine turned out more like a bark than a fudge, but I may have cooked it to long.

Special Irish Beef Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
The stew had a good flavor. I added 2 cans of beef broth and left out the cornstarch because it didn't need it. It did however need a bit of salt.

Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Orzo

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
I used 1/2 cup of Sun Dried tomato, 1 1/4 cup of parmsean, and a clove of garlic. My roommate still thinks it's a little dry but I liked it. I think the key is to chop the basil and sun dried tomato mixture up really small so that it spreads throughout the orzo better.

Spicy Chicken Rice Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
This soup has become one of my favorite soups. It has a lot of flavor and tastes just as good the next day. I usually saute the vegetables before adding the remaining soup ingredients.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2013
The only problem that I have with this mix is the grit I get at the bottom of my cup. I guess I need to find a way to process it finer. I also use more mix per cup as I long it strong.

Mayonnaise Biscuits

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2013
I feel that I should start this review off with the fact that I don't like mayonnaise. I really wanted to like this recipe, but all I could taste was mayo. I loved the consistency, they were really light and fluffy (probably because I used a muffin tin), but I coudn't get past the aftertaste.
