Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
My whole family likes these pork chops--even my picky 6 and 3-year-olds. I used 1" thick pork chops and the spices were just right for them. They were really moist and yummy!

We're improving our diets and this recipe is great nutritionally and is very tasty. It certainly will keep our diet from getting boring!

Applesauce Oatie Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
These cookies were so good! We're trying to make healthier desserts and had tried substituting applesauce for some of the butter in other recipes and ended up with dense, cake-like cookies--with more calories than these cookies. These were crisp and chewy, delicious cookies and the spices in them were just right. Yum!

Kosher Salt Encrusted Prime Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
I made this roast for Christmas Eve dinner and it was very good. I don't really understand why the recipe called for so much salt--about half never even touched the roast, and I used a 5.5lb roast. We watch our salt intake, so some bites of the roast were too salty. I will fix this again, but next time I will cut the salt in half and see how we like it. I also used about 2-3 T of cajun seasoning on the roast rather than the seasoned salt. It was good that way. Overall, you can follow this recipe with confidence but if you watch your salt intake, this will probably pretty salty for you. And make sure you use kosher salt--regular salt is even saltier and would probably ruin the roast.

Three Pepper Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2002
My husband and I liked this one--low cal and full of flavor. I used seasoned bread crumbs in place of the crackers, so I should've used seasoned salt on the chicken breasts.
