Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2013
To rate this recipe I would give it a 4.5 stars. I cut down the potatoes to just under 3 cups as any more than that felt like it was too much. I did not use any celery and added a few teaspoons of chives. I used didnt use all the butter and all the flour either. The reason why I am giving this a 5 starts is because it is a perfect base soup for any flavour! I basically substituted the potatoes for mushrooms and had a wonderful mushroom soup. I then made this again substituting the potatoes for cauliflower and had an amazing soup as well. It really is a great base

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
I thought this recipe was delicious! I referred to past reviews and used 3 eggs and 1 cup milk and I pushed some cheese into the bottom of the pie crust first. I did have to bake the quiche for 50 mins at 355 degrees before it was no longer runny inside. I'm giving this recipe a 4 and not 5 stars as I had to make some modifications based on previous reviews. I will make this again

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2011
I thought this recipe was pretty good. I added about half the cream to make the pasta a bit less 'saucy' and added mushrooms and chicken. Its great if you are looking for a simple tasty meal

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
this was the best cheesecake I have ever made! It was so soft and creamy, it was a big hit after Easter dinner. I boiled my berries first and then put them in a blender. I added a bit of vanilla and an extra 1/4 cup of lemon juice to the filling. I also used only 6 ounces of condensed milk and slightly more butter. I would bake this again

Pull-Apart Easter Blossom Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
My family really liked this bread. I found the recipe easy to follow and the pictures were very helpful. I'm not giving this a full 5 stars as I found the bread to not be as soft as I would have liked it to be after cooling. But while warm this was delicious
