Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
These were DELISH, very rich and fattening but delish!! lol I did make a few changes, but I always do when cooking... I used half cream and half milk for the sauce with an old white Cheddar (you can use less cheese if it has more flavour), layered the potatoes with crumbled bacon (makes these potatoes over the top kind of delicious!!) finely diced onions and pepper. I also added some of the sauce to half the layered potatoes and think that buttering the dish was unnecessary. Served them with honey and apricot glazed ham for Easter, and now can't wait for another special occasion to make them again!

The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
I've made this dessert many times before but I normally use Coolwhip or Dreamwhip. But I am living in Denmark right now and cannot find either, so I was really happy to find this recipe that used real whipped cream! I did cut down on the sugar a little, used butter instead of margarine and changed the topping to crushed pineapple and shredded coconut, but that was just personal preference. I tripled the recipe and made two big cheesecakes, not only got rave reviews but the guys we had over for Easter dinner were begging to take home leftovers haha

I thought these were delicious, but I did add fresh chives and cayenne pepper to mine!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
These were great and very simple to make! However,I used Cashew butter instead because I am allergic to peanuts. I also added vanilla and used 3/4 cup of brown sugar instead of white based on other reviewers suggestions.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
These were delicious brownies! I only used 2 cups of sugar because I used milk chocolate chips instead of semi sweet and the brownies were still plenty sweet. I was looking for a brownie recipe because I wanted to make an ice cream birthday cake for a friend. So I used this recipe as the base then added a layer of cookies and cream icecream then topped it with crushed oreo cookies and drizzled chocolate sauce... was unreal!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
These cookies turned out delicious! I did however make two adjustments. First I added 1 cup of Skor toffee Chipits instead of the nuts, then seperated the cookie dough in two and added flaked coconut to one half for something different. Everyone loved both kinds! Thanks for the great recipe!

Easy Peach Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
I've only made this recipe once and with the changes I made I gave it a 5* rating. I had fresh peaches so I sauteed them with equal parts of butter and sugar, just until fork tender. Then I added about a cup of fresh raspberries on top of the cooled peaches. I also added some oats to the crumble mixture. Made it for a party of 12 and everyone loved it!

Asiago Dip with Crostini

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
I found that this was a very good recipe to start from since I did change a few things. I left out the mushrooms and sundried tomatoes and added marinated artichokes, parmasean cheese and 2 cloves of garlic. I made this recipe twice doing it this way. The first time I baked it for about 15 minutes and I got "good" reviews. The second time I decided just to leave it cold and everyone loved it.
