Pork Carnitas
I just made this, and it is awesomely delicious! I followed the recipe exactly as far as ingredients. I did however cook it in the crockpot overnight instead of on the stove. Turned it off in the morning and after an hour or two, I shredded the meat and finished it off on a baking sheet in the oven. I ended up using only one quart (4 cups) of broth in the crockpot. I will definitely make this again and again.

I tried this yummy recipe yesterday. I used my leftover cabbage and potatoes from Sunday's corned beef meal. It was an excellent side to have with the last bit of leftover corned beef. To avoid a trip to the store, I used a small onion in place of the leeks. I will definitely try it with the leeks at some point. Thanks for a great recipe.

Sausage Pasta
I have made my own version of this for years... I just call it Sausage Pasta Toss.... lol I have not used broth... I just want to toss it all together :) Lots of ways to change it... yummy and healthy with turkey italian sausage.
