Beef Fried Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
we loved this but I did make changes after reading other reviews: I added ginger and garlic to the beef, splash of worchestire, 1 cup of peas and 1 drained can of baby corn, and omitted the eggs. before we ate I heard I don't want the meat from 1 kid and I don't like soy sauce from the other, they both ate it all up and asked for more! thank you this is super fast, good and cheap: perfect

WOW this was great! and even better the 2nd day. Made this for a potluck, there were no leftovers and had to make it again for the kids lol. I loved the crunchy toffee bits from the candy bar. btw if you are in Canada they are called skor not heath bars.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
I love this recipe I always make it for thanksgiving and Christmas and it wouldnt be the holidays without it. My friends from England call it "bloody brilliant" to our tastes, I dont add the mushrooms and start with way less broth and add more as needed

Chip Chicken Lollipops

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
wow! I added some salt-free garlic herb spices to the egg mixture and put these on a rack instead of flipping them, as suggested by others also I skewered chicken breast 1/4s before dipping them in the egg and chips . dill pickle, suprisingly good; ketchup good; sweet chili heat doritos by far the best. everyone enjoyed these and even my usually well behaved dog is begging for one!

Bacon-Flavored Dog Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
so easy and the dogs loved them; I can't walk through the kitchen today without them following expectantly! I replaced the salt with chicken boullion, I do need to make them smaller next time for my little dog, but that should have been obvious to me before I baked them :) she's not complaining. woofs to the chef

we love beer butt chicken but adding lime? awesome. out of habit we basted it with melted butter and montreal chicken spice, but then squirted lime juice on the outside too. thanks for suggesting "plugging" the neck hole with a lime. very moist meat. thanks for sharing

Cottage Dill Bread

We love this bread I've given out the recipe 3 times! my hubby hates cottage cheese so, as long as he never sees me making this, he will continue to enjoy it too lol. I use dill weed rather than seed. big favorite

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2003
We LOVED this, we have a deepfreeze full of buffalo which we are finding tough and chewy but even it was great cooked this way. my kids (4 and 5) loved it too. we dumped the leftovers over pergoies and baked it for an hour, that meal was a hit too! thank you for the recipe. p.s. I am an "Arby's" addict but live far from the city this was just as good!
