Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
This is one easy and tasty way to serve ground turkey. I also added a little worstershire sauce, used minced dried onions, and used the entire egg. They turned out great. I could see where this WOULD also be good as a meatloaf or meatballs. Not a ton of flavor, but mild enough for kids and flavorful enough for mom and dad.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2004
This was extremely easy and quite flavorful. I added some italian seasoning and think that it would have been a little bland without it. Someone else suggested using chicken in place of the seafood, and I imagine that would taste even better in this sauce.

Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2004
This is a great recipe, especially if you're in a hurry. I followed the recipe exactly except I used a cup of spaghetti sauce in place of the dry spaghetti packet, because I did not have any on hand. I will definitely make this again and will use the correct ingredients then. I'm sure it will be as good or better!

Nordy Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2004
I must say, I was a little skeptical when I read the ingredients. I couldn't see how any recipe with SO much sugar (butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, marshmallows, AND brown sugar) and could be anything but sickeningly sweet. But, with all the rave reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I should have gone with my instincts. I think after just one mushy bar I have developed diabetes. I love sweets, and anything with chocolate is OK in my book, but this was SO sweet and SO mushy that it was beyond enjoyable. I wouldn't waste your ingredients on this one.

Cajun Seafood Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2003
This was quite yummy, but anything with 2 cups of cream better taste good! I reduced the red pepper flakes to just 1/2 tsp. and, even though we love spicy food, it was definitely enough. We also did not add the white pepper, just the black pepper. It was plenty of pepper! The sauce tasted really salty before we added the seafood and pasta, but was just right after everyhting was combined. We will definitely make this again.

Apricot Chicken III

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2003
The onion soup definitely overpowers the Apricot. I did use a can of apricots with the juice, as I did not have any nectar but don't really think that would make much difference. I skinned the chicken and suggest, as others have, that the chicken be marinated. I think half as much onion soup would be sufficient. I do like how easy this recipe was, but would adjust next time so that the apricot flavor was the primary flavor.

Neiman Marcus Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2003
I, too, had high hopes for this recipe. I failed to notice that it called for 4 CUPS of powdered sugar until it came time to add it. SO, it was no surprise that the finished cake was way too sweet. For people who like sickeningly sweet desserts, this would be a good one.
