Made this last night for a crowd of 9. Everyone raved. I spiced with 3 tsp. cinnamon, and 3/4 tsp each of ginger, cloves and nutmeg. Also used brown sugar instead of white (and pulp from cooked sweetie pie pumpkin). Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Beef-Stuffed Squash

Very good! I didn't have Russian Dressing, so made my own with 1 part french to 1 part ranch and some hot sauce. Will definitely make again.

Taco Lasagna

Excellent recipe! I served this last night and my family all said this was definitely a keeper. I used chives instead of green onion since chives are now in season and just out the back door. Also, I use sliced cheeses in my lasagnas as it tends to hold together better. Really, really good and easy!!!

Crab and Swiss Quiche

Absolutely wonderful! Everyone loved it, and asked that I be sure to keep this recipe and make it again. (I used a Pillsbury ready-made crust from the refrigerator section of the grocery store.) Prep time only 5 minutes!

Baked Brie with Caramelized Onions

I have made this multiple times now and it is an absolute hit with everyone! No need for any garnish and simplifies the recipe immensely. Serve with good, whole wheat crackers. The best!!!

Pork Normandy

Excellent! I made this for my elderly French neighbor who grew up in Normandy; She was skeptical of my attempting French (particularly Norman)cooking, but approved this dish highly (as did the rest of the dinner party). My only recommendation is to blend the sauce in small portions since hot liquids expand quickly - as I found out the hard way.

Lyonnaise Potatoes

I made this for my elderly French neighbor who grew up in Normandy. She was skeptical of my doing French cooking, but this recipe won her over. Potatoes do need to be baked much longer than recipe calls for, as others have said here also.

Grilled 'Fusion' Pork Chops

Excellent! Everyone loved this. Went great with sides of "Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Apples" and "Grilled Portobello Mushrooms." I couldn't find Garam Masala in our area, so went on the internet and found a "recipe" for it; Luckily I had all of the ingredients to make this "India Spice Blend" in my spice cabinet.

Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Excellent recipe! However, if using sweet apple, I would recommend no added sugar at all. This was certainly a hit served with Grilled 'Fusion' Cork chops, and Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Peppy's Pita Bread
